Aaron served as First Mate aboard the M/Y Life's Finest 11, a private 132ft (40m) Northcoast motor yacht with six crew, cruising extensively across Florida, the U.S. East Coast, the Caribbean, Europe, and the Mediterranean.
Throughout his tenure, Aaron consistently demonstrated exceptional initiative, identifying and prioritizing tasks independently and often anticipating the needs of both the vessel and crew. As First Mate, he held full responsibility for the vessel’s exterior maintenance—a workload realistically too great for one person—yet he not only managed it but excelled.
Aaron’s positive attitude and professional demeanor, both on and off the vessel, were exemplary. His skillset extends beyond routine maintenance; he actively undertook repair work throughout the yacht, demonstrating the ability to handle projects independently. His practical knowledge, resourcefulness, and meticulous attention to detail were invaluable, while his strong organizational skills significantly eased my responsibilities as Captain.
As a shipmate and second-in-command, Aaron proved himself dependable, hardworking, and highly respected by the entire crew. His contributions were critical to the smooth operation of the yacht, and he consistently went above and beyond in every task.
I will sincerely miss having Aaron aboard Life’s Finest 11 and wish him every success in his future endeavours. I would welcome the opportunity to sail with him again without hesitation.
